This car and the 1975 Lotus Esprit always drew my eye. I’ll never be able to afford either, but I still admire them like hell.

Let me introduce you to the Pantera’s predecessor, the Mangusta :
The bumperettes were their first attempt to meet the upcoming bumper regulations. They couldn’t come up with an acceptable solution, so the Pantera was born.
This one is owned by a fellow in Baton Rouge. His shop is on the main route to one of the high schools, so he likes to park his car out front to mess with the boys. I think he likes that a mechanic owns a car most of them can only dream about.
Every supercar deserves a set of gullwing doors.
